Entertainment KITAS (Artist Visa) – Who is it for and what are the benefits

The Artist KITAS is known by many names, such as the Impresario KITAS, Impresario Visa, Impresariat KITAS, Impresariat Visa, Freelancer KITAS, Freelancer Visa, Entertainment Visa and Entertainer KITAS, but these names all apply to the same visa – A visa specifically intended for artists.

The Artist KITAS (Artist Visa) is a specific visa for people in the entertainment and art industries, with a maximum validity of 6 months.

Typical jobs that use this type of visa include Hairdressers, make-up artists, models, musicians, a DJ, art directors, artists, magicians, show managers, performers, dancers, actors/actresses, acrobatics, circus performers, as well as sporting professionals and coaches.

Steps to get your Artist KITAS

  1. Application of Work Permit
  2. Application of E-Vitas C312
  3. Upon arrival to Indonesia, the foreigner is required to drop the original passport to our office
  4. Attend the Biometric and fingerprint session
  5. E-vitas to KITAS conversion at the local immigration office
  6. KITAS completion with the E-KITAS along with multiple entry re-entry permit

How long is the validity of the Artist Visa?

The validity varies, but the maximum period is 6 months.

Is this visa extendable?

This Artist KITAS is not extendable. When the visa expires you will need to obtain an EPO (Exit Permit Only) to close the visa. Once closed, you may apply for a new one.
