Armenia, Mozambique and Tanzania Are Eligible For Indonesia Visa on Arrival

Starting from September 2023, Indonesian Immigration has announced to broaden its Visa on Arrival (VoA) and e-visa program to include citizens of Armenia, Mozambique, and Tanzania. This significant update aims to boost tourism and simplify the entry process for travellers from these countries.

With this expansion, citizens of Armenia, Mozambique, and Tanzania now have the convenience of obtaining their visas either upon arrival or through the online e-visa application system. This development makes visiting Indonesia more accessible and hassle-free.

About Indonesia Visa on Arrival

The Indonesian Visa on Arrival is a stay permit scheme that allows foreigners to stay in Indonesia without any pre-organised visa. Currently, 96 countries are allowed to go to Indonesia using VoA.

This visit visa provides foreign nationals with an initial 30-day visa to Indonesia and is extendable (optional) for a further 30 days, limiting the maximum stay to 60 days within the country. This visa is extendable and is eligible for a one-time extension for an additional 30 days. If you would like to stay longer, we suggest contacting us before your visa expires. For more information about Visa on Arrival Extension in Indonesia, talk to our Visa consultants for FREE.

Requirements to obtain Visa on Arrival in Indonesia

According to Immigration regulations, to be eligible for VoA foreigners are required to present the following documents at the immigration counter:

1. A passport valid for at least 6 (six) months.
2. Either a return ticket or a connecting ticket for onward travel to another country.

It’s important to note that foreign visitors would need to pay for the VoA upon receipt. The cost to obtain a Visa on arrival is IDR 500,000 or USD 35.
