A double entry visa for South Korea allows the holder to enter the country twice within a specific period. This type of visa is ideal for travelers who plan to visit South Korea multiple times during their trip, or who plan to leave the country and return within a short period.
What is it and who is it for?
The Double Entry Visa for South Korea enables foreign travelers to visit the country twice within six months, with each stay lasting up to 90 days. This visa is ideal for individuals planning short-term trips to South Korea for tourism or business purposes. It’s worth noting that the Double Entry Visa does not permit paid work in South Korea.
A 6-month Double Entry Visa allows for only two entries into South Korea, and each entry must be within 90 days of the previous one.
Please note that unless you are from a visa-free country such as an EU member state, Canada, Australia, or the United States, you will require a visa to enter South Korea.

How to Get Your Double Entry Visa to South Korea
- Download the form from the South Korea Embassy website under
“Konsulat / Visa” -> “Document requirements.” - Visit the Korean Visa Application Center (KVAC) to submit your visa application in person or through a representative (one family card requires one representative).
- Pay the visa fee in cash, by credit card, or through a demand draft.
- After payment, collect the original Invoice Cum Receipt (ICR) copy from the cash counter.
- Wait for the announcement of your visa status (acceptance or denial).
- Collect your passport. If your visa application was submitted through a travel agency, the agency will collect your passport. If you are collecting your passport yourself, you will need to bring the original receipt. If someone else is collecting your passport on your behalf, they must bring the original receipt, a copy of your identity document, and their identity document.

- Standard: 2.500.000 IDR - 7 Working Days
- Express level: 3.200.000 IDR - 5 Working Days
Requirements
- The photo with 3.5cm x 4.5cm in size, have a white background, be attached to the application form, have been taken within the last 6 months, be in color, and show the applicant’s face from the front.
- Required documents for passport include the original passport, one copy of the personal passport information page, and one copy of the immigration stamp page.
- Identity proof requirements exist for workers (employment certificate, tax letter), students (student certificate) and entrepreneurs (business license, tax letter). All documents must be under three months old.
- Indonesian Family Certificate
- Financial documents: Bank transaction details and originals stamped by the bank
