Visa Services & Immigration Consulting
If you have hold a valid Single Entry Visa, either tourist of business and plan to stay in Indonesia for longer than your initial 60 days permitted, you will need to extend your visa. The Single Entry Visa Extension should be submitted by your sponsor and a representative of the sponsor should process the extension.
To summarise how it works, the Single Entry Visa allows 60 days validity upon entering Indonesia, it can be extended 2 times, each time providing a further 60 days. Therefore, with 2 extensions the maximum validity of the visa is 180 days.
The process is quite simple using LetsMoveIndonesia, just contact us when you have 2 weeks left on your visa and we can either send one of our couriers to collect it from you (if you are in close vicinity to any of our 4 offices) or feel free to hand it to our team yourself.
Once received we will take your passport to immigration on your behalf and within a few days immigration will confirm a time whereby you will need to join us at immigration for a biometric sessions. After that, we will wait for immigration to do their thing, usually a few more days and then we will collect your passport. You can either collect it from a LetsMoveIndonesia office of your choosing or our couriers can deliver it to you, once again vicinity allowing.
This will depend on where you are staying in Indonesia, each immigration office has its own coverage area.
We would suggest 2 weeks. The process generally should run quite smooth; however, Indonesia is renowned for public holidays, especially in Bali, so there are times where processes take significantly longer. Either way, 2 weeks is plenty of time.
Up until 2022, visa extensions were only 30 days; however, immigration authorities changed this to 60-day increments to decrease visitations to immigration offices. They also increased government fees from 500,000 IDR to 1,500,000 IDR at the same time.
We cover areas in close proximity to our offices. We have offices in Kuningan Jakarta, Sanur Bali, Seminyak Bali and Canggu Bali.
Yes, we will send a representative to meet you there.
