Breaking news! The Directorate General of Immigration of Indonesia has increased the number of countries whose residents are eligible for Visa on Arrival (VOA) for tourism purposes!

Now Maldives, Monaco, and Colombia are newly included on the list! Don’t know if your country is included in the eligible list for Visa on Arrival in Indonesia? Check the updated list below if your country is eligible to apply for Visa on Arrival:

If you are not too familiar with Visa on Arrival, you can read our article about it here for more details. But in short, the Visa on Arrival is good for 30 days and can be extended at the immigration office once for another 30 days. Thus, you are only permitted to remain in Indonesia for a total of 60 days before you must depart.

At a specific desk located at the airport’s arrival area, you must pay for a visa in cash (USD, EUR, AUD, or IDR). Following that, the visa must be stamped with the words “Visa on Arrival” and the arrival date at immigration.

  10. Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman, East Kalimantan
  11. Sultan Hassanudin, South Sulawesi
  12. Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II, South Sumatra
  13. Sultan Syarif Kasim II, Riau
  14. Syamsudin Noor, South Kalimantan
