The Single Entry Visa Indonesia is No Longer Available Onshore

Indonesia Government has completely shut down the access to obtain Single Entry Visa (B211) onshore through molina.go.id (online application) since 3rd July 2023.
Visa Onshore is one of the ways where foreigners can apply for a visa when they are already in Indonesian territory.

This concept existed to aid the visa application process to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak, allowing individuals to apply for visas within Indonesia to repress international traffic in and out of the country.

However, with the pandemic situation massively improving, the immigration of Indonesia has decided to deactivate the online process for the onshore visa application process.
This new regulation was issued through Surat Berita Nomor 19 2023 concerning the revocation of the previous regulation from the Minister of Law and Human Rights Nomor 34 2021 about the granted visas and residence permits during the Coronavirus period and national economic recovery since 2019.

Despite the changes in visa regulations, the option to change the status from B211A (visitor visa) to ITAS (Limited Stay Permit) will still be available. The visa onshore process has existed even before the pandemic and will continue to be a viable option for individuals who wish to extend their stay in Indonesia.

Other changes regarding Indonesia visa regulations

As we are slightly surpassing the pandemic situation, the need to provide additional health requirements and documents such as vaccination certificates and health insurance is proposed to no longer be mandatory for visa applications.

Can we still extend Indonesia visas Onshore?

Yes, however, the application may require you to do the conventional visa extension process prior to Covid-19. To extend your visa, you should visit the immigration office and conduct the application process manually.
