Single Entry Business Visa – Who is it for and what are the benefits

The Single Entry Business Visa is intended for foreign nationalities that are visiting Indonesia primarily for business meeting over a prolonged period of time.

The visa has an initial 60 days of validity upon entry and can be extended a further 2 times, each with 60-day increments. The total validity therefore of this visa is 180 days.

If you are wondering why would you process this visa choice over the Visa on Arrival, there are four points to consider:

  1. Validity: This visa has a maximum validity of 180 days.
  2. Onshore Visa Mutation: This visa allows foreign nationals to apply for different visas onshore. The Visa on Arrival does not permit applicants to apply for any other visa whilst in Indonesia.
  3. Nationality: Not all nationalities can enter Indonesia using the Visa on Arrival. To check out everything you need to know, read this article: Everything you need to know about the Visa on Arrival 2023.
  4. Cost effectiveness: The Single Entry Business Visa is more cost and time effective than leaving the country every 60 days.

Common Questions

Why has this visa been so popular recently and why is LetsMoveIndonesia the leading provider of this service in Indonesia?

The Single Entry Business visa has been one of the most requested visas to enter Indonesia since 2020 with LetsMoveIndonesia assisting tens of thousands of people obtain theirs during this time.

The visa has been around for a long time; however, with borders closing for Covid for almost 2 years this visa type was the only way to enter Indonesia during this time. As the first agency in Indonesia to promote the service at our pre covid price of 3,600,000 IDR (at the time) our competitors tried to exploit desperate foreigners by increasing their service fees by 400%.

Thankfully as the market leading agency in the country, eventually the “competition” followed our ethical lead and copied our pricing, text, promotions and anything else affiliated with what we do.

Now the price is fairly standardized across the country, but if it wasn’t for our ethical and honest values, greedy people would have continued to rip you off.

There is a reason why LetsMoveIndonesia wins awards every year for being the best in what we do, it’s because our ethical values and honesty set us apart from the rest.
